Hello Lovelies!

Do I have something exciting for you! If you've ever had Evian water, you've probably heard of their facial spray. No? Don't worry, I didn't either. I had absolutely NO IDEA that they made a facial spray. I did a little reading on it, because everyone knows of the water, but why a facial spray? Apparently it was invented in France in 1962 at doctor's requests to help soothe burn patients.

Pretty cool, right? I thought so and Evian has only improved on it since then. The Evian Facial spray helps to enhance moisturizers and you can spray it over make up without worrying about ruining it. You can get this stuff at Nordstrom and Sephora, but it's also available at stores like Walgreens! Or, to make it easier, you could get it at their website here!

Evian and the Wilkes Group, (the company that distributes the spray), are hosting a spectacular giveaway! Wilkes is giving away a Longchamp "Le Pilage" backpack, which is water resistant, durable, and has a leather handle. Not only is it retailed at $125 (yikes!), it's going to be packed with a 10 ounce, 5 ounce, and three travel size Evian sprays! Add another $175 onto that bill.

And even if you aren't the grand prize winner, you could be one of the three people that receive a Longchamp pochette toiletries case filled with three travel size sprays! Enter by filling out the form before or going to the website here.

** This is a non paid for advertorial. Giveaway hosted by The Wilkes Group. Thanks to Evian and BrandBacker**

Hello Lovelies!
I'm doing a weekly summary today mainly because A LOT has gone on this week. And I mean a lot. It's actually been a really stressful couple of days.

♥So it was National Cat Day this week. I posted this on Instagram (Follow me at @ohmy_m!) and it just made me miss all my little babies more. Cosmo (top left) lives with my mom, Princess and Four (top right) currently live with us and are trouble makers to the core, Enzo (bottom left) passed away last summer :''(, and Lacey (bottom right) now lives with my mom as well.
♥Mike has been sick most of the week. Which means no sleep for either of us!
♥Maybe some of you noticed, but I had some issues with my domain this week. Meaning the site was down and just wasn't doing what it was supposed too. Moral: Always pay attention to those emails.
♥I got on the WRONG train home the other day. Which resulted in me catching the subway back to the main train station so I could catch a different train home. Ugh, I have never run so fast in a crowd in my life.
♥Anxiety. This has been the worst thing about this week. Thankfully, I've managed to get out of bed and get through the day, but there's nothing like a little demon in your head telling you that everything is going to go wrong. Yikes.

I'm tagging any blogger that happens to read this to do their own daily/weekly/monthly summary because I STILL miss reading them!

Hello Lovelies!
The best thing about Autumn, or one of the best things, are the farm stands. The last one I visited was at the very end of summer. When all the fruits and veggies were coming to the end of their peak and just looked so yummy and beautiful. But now it's the season of apples and pumpkins and multicolored corn. I adore all the colors and smells of spices! So naturally, we had to stop and get a pumpkin for our sad looking doorway.

I absolutely loved this little farm stand. It's right down the street from our house and it just had a really quaint and homey feel to it. Everything was decked out for fall and inside was full of baked goods and all the apple-everything that you could imagine! I was able to snag some of their fresh baked apple cider donuts and a half gallon of freshly made apple cider. Both were gone before I was able to get any images, but trust me, they were so good!

Have you gotten your pumpkins yet?

Hello Lovelies!
Now before I start, I just want to say that I'm in no way bragging or rubbing this in anyone's face that I have this phone. I don't usually get things as soon as they come out. I was simply due for an upgrade as my old phone was starting to die. 4 years with the thing, whoo! I've seen a lot of people doing unboxing on multiple things, not just this phone, but I thought I would do a post in case any of you wanted to see what it looked like and all that. I have to say, I'm liking it so far. The finger touch to unlock the phone is super cool and the display is so much bigger. I can probably fit about two more rows of apps! Not like I need them haha. Anyway, enjoy the images I have for you and comment below if you've gotten or will be getting the new iPhone!

Hello Lovelies!
It feels like it's been such a long time since I did a 'Something About' post. I fell into that rut of not really wanting to read anything and just went on watching shows and trying to catch up in that aspect of my life (which will never happen, btw). This is kind of a different kind of Currently Reading/Book Haul kind of thing. As you can probably tell from the little stickers at the top, these books are not ones I've purchased. I still go to the library. A LOT. Most of my friends have kindles and nooks, which I think is pretty cool and convenient because you don't have all that weight with you, but I much prefer the tangible thing. Plus I like smelling the pages. No shame, it's one of my favorite smells. I haven't read through all of these yet, but I really wanted to show you what my nose has been in lately.

One of my ongoing missions in the book world was to find and read all books written by Sara Shepard, which most of you will know as the author of Pretty Little Liars, which I have loved for years until the show started tearing apart Aria and Ezra. Ugh. That's a rant for another post. Anyway, I found a good handful of books that she had written both before and after PLL. The Heiresses is one of her newest. I had seen a lot of negative reviews on this on Goodreads, which most of you will know is basically where I'm constantly updating my virtual library. If you'd like to follow me, you can find my page here! I love a good mystery and I do think that Sara Shepard has this genre down well. I will admit that she writes a lot about privileged people with lots of money and all that jazz, which can be exhausting, but the plot to this story was well thought out, I think. The only thing I didn't like was that we are introduced to a lot of characters all at once, and they all have different narratives. If you've read her before, you know that she likes to write in different perspectives, and there are around six or seven narratives, not to mention a whole slew of related characters. BUT. A good plot and mystery, altogether. I'd honestly love another installment.

Another by Sara Shepard, I have to say that I don't quite know how to feel about this one. I definitely went through it easily enough, but it wasn't quite mystery, though it did have some hidden family secrets. And thankfully, only one narrative. It follows a girl whose father is slowly descending into mental illness, her mother has just up and left, and her brother is extreme in some ways. Her life is a constant up and down struggle and I found myself shaking my head at some of her decisions, though she was dealing with some pretty heavy stuff. I suppose I could say that I liked it and would recommend it to someone if they described that they were looking for something like this, though I probably wouldn't pick it up and read it again.

Currently, I'm in the middle of reading this one. I can't get over the cover, by the way, I absolutely love fall and all the leaves here just make my heart melt! This one has three narratives and a little bit of a mystery, though it has mostly been focused on family issues and miscommunication. I can't give a proper review, since I'm still in the process, but so far so good! This is the last novel I have by Sara in this little haul and after this, I think it'll be good to finally move on to someone else.

I have a couple other books in the haul that I'll be working on. I have incentive. They're all due before the 30th!
What have you been reading?
