Revlon Colorstay Foundation | ❄Blogmas❄

Second day of blogmas! So far, so good!

First of all, before I get into this post about my newest foundation find, a little life update: we finally found a place to move into!

I'm so excited and that means I can cross one more thing off of my 2015 Checklist that I made for New Years' Resolution time! You can find my updated list here. My last update was in March, oh my god.

Anyway, onto the foundation! As most of you might know by now, I have had a serious struggle when it comes to foundations. I'm not really good at matching my skin tone to the color that I need. I typically end up getting a shade lighter or darker than I actually need. And I'm not sure you can return things like this opened in the States. Or anywhere, for that matter. (Note to self: research this).

But I think I found something that works for now and is actually in my color!

Revlon's Colorstay foundation for combination skin. I get really oily skin in my T-zone, so this has been a lifesaver. I don't have to worry about my foundation coming off because the oil around that area is getting out of control. It actually has helped keep it at bay, though I still use a translucent powder to keep everything in place, just in case.

So far, this has been one of the best foundations that I have used. But I have found that if my skin is not properly moisturized and is feeling a bit dry and out of whack, then it will definitely reflect that. Honestly, I think that is more common sense than anything else. (Duh, Maegan, moisturize daily).

My color is 200 Nude! I finally got the color right! Now, if only I could do that for everything. This foundation is GREAT at covering up spots, redness of the face, and dark circles. The last bit has been so amazing. I usually pound on the concealer, but with this, I rarely ever need it. It's a miracle!

What is your most used/favorite foundation?

**UPDATE: I've discovered that Buff is more my shade, as Nude was turning out to be too dark.**
