Hello Lovelies!

Wow, it seems like forever since I've just sat down and written out a post. My last post wasn't that long ago, but it has definitely seemed like ages. So, for those of you that are still here and reading: HELLO! I love you and I've missed you! *fist pumps*

I have a simple post for today, though not one that I get to do very often. A favorites post! They are becoming more recent on my blog, which I'm very happy about. But enough rambling!

I was really loving my Naked On the Run palette in January. I have recently run out of the powder and pencil for my eyebrows, so the fourth eye shadow in has been extensively used. It's the best shade for my brows and I believe the color is called Dare. I also use the first eye shadow a lot, which is a very pretty pinky, rose gold-ish color.

I've seemed to really favor Urban Decay products this past month, because here is the Naked 2 palette! Though honestly, I use this about the same amount as any other month. I LOVE Tease, it's such a subtle color and I feel like I can wear it most days and make it work with any look. It's so versatile! I do also use Chopper a lot.

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll probably know that I have a strong obsession with mascaras. (Not pictured: Maybelline Lash Sensational). I've been trying this new technique with my mascaras to make my eyelashes look fuller. I have kind of a weird complex with my lashes, they almost always never look big enough for me. But what I've found works; I use a base mascara, like Lash Sensational or CoverGirl's Bloom, and curl on the opposite side. This will be hard to explain without pictures, I'll put up a little tutorial soon for it! But I brush on the side that usually faces the eye lid, then the normal way. And then I go over them again with a thicker mascara, like Better Than Sex or the Bold Lacquer from Revlon. I find that an actual brush applicator works better for this process!

Two, count 'em, two! foundations this month! This is SO super rare for me. I found that I kept switching between the two foundations depending on how my skin looked like in the morning. If I had a spot that was particularly red or bothersome, I would use the Revlon Colorstay. It really does last 24 hours and, as a bonus, it has SPF 15 mixed in. It's a heavy coverage foundation, which is really good for covering up anything you don't want seen. I find I don't usually have to use concealer with this one. When my skin was behaving and looking much happier, I would lean towards L'Oreal's Lumi foundation, which also has an SPF! This one gives a lighter coverage and, for me, lasts most of the day.

To go with my foundation, I've been using the L'Oreal Lumi primer. You can use it with any foundation, really, but it works wonders with the Lumi foundation. It really makes your skin look super healthy and dewy. Not oily dewy, because ew, but just right. And another from Urban Decay, the eye shadow primer! I really, REALLY try to get away with not needing a primer for my eyes, but it never works out. On the days that I skip, I can't help but notice the crease lines. And I can't stand those.

Also, a completely random fav, Honolulu Sun hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works. This LITERALLY smells like a day at the beach and I have three more bottles waiting for me when this is empty.
