July 2018 Bibliothon | Blog Style

The book posts are going to be a little heavy this month, I think.

Book challenges are both stressful and fun. As I've decided to try and take on two for this year, and this MONTH, I feel like I'm going to be stressed. So let's just dive into this.
These posts will be edited to reflect books completed, along with images of the specific books.

This bi-annual reading challenge starts July 14th (today!) and ends on July 20th. One book can be combined to two challenges, no more than that!

1 | Group read of The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw.

2 | Choose a book from someone else's TBR
I chose from Mackenzie Lane's list and decided to pick a book that I've already read but would like to re-read, and that is The Potion Diaries by Amy Alward. However, the version I have is called Madly.

3 | Try the first chapter of 3 books and pick 1
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll! My choics were between this and The Wild Things by Dave Eggers and Something's Missing by Matthew Dicks.

4 | Read a book that has been on your TBR for over a year
I'm combining this with number 5, as I've definitely had it for more than a year.

5 | Read a predicted 5 star read
The Bad Queen by Carolyn Meyer. I've had this for a while and I can't remember if I've ever picked it up. I love a good historical fiction, so I feel like this will be an easy 5 star for me.

6 | Own voices - different than you
I've chosen a book that I think we've all read before and it's The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank.

7 | Read the last book you bought
I'm changing this a little to the last book I acquired. This is going to be The Hangman's Secret by Laura Joh Rowland.
