Tarte x Aspyn Ovard Face & Cheek Palette | Review

Who doesn't love a YouTuber/beauty collaboration?

There have been a lot of them, lately. I've liked using Aspyn Ovard's Santorini Sands highlighter from Pixi, so I was excited to get this palette and test it out.

First of all, as always I want to point out the packaging. It's gorgeous. Rose gold and floral prints, a big beautiful mirror inside, natural shades. This palette was made for me. My favorite eye palette has always been Urban Decay's Naked 2. I use that almost on a daily basis. It's my go-to. Now I'm not sure which one to use because this has given me so many other options that are in my ballpark.

I love that we have matte white-ish shades to choose from. They're really good to use as a base and to blend with some of the darker nudes. The shimmers, especially the one in the middle (heart of gold) have some serious fallout, so it's best to apply these ones with your finger. I would even say to wet your finger a bit, though I haven't tried that yet. Just the finger worked well enough. All in all, I like this palette and I think that anyone who loves a good natural eye look is going to like it as well.
