Everyday Make-Up Routine | BLOGTOBER 🍂☕🎃

by - 10/03/2019

Hello lovelies!

 So while I try and make up for a year's worth of lacking posts during blogtober, I have a quick post here on my everyday make-up routine. Which was non-existent until a few months ago when I really figured out what was the quickest way to make me look somewhat alive during the work week. And something that could be done in 10 minutes if necessary.

And it usually is.

As you can see from above, I don't use that many products. The whole point of this is to not spend that much time riffling through my makeup bag while at work. I'm lucky enough to have skin that behaves most of the time, so I use a powder foundation. My eyeshadow depends on how I'm feeling. I switch out the palettes I use every now and then. And sometimes I won't even wear it at all. This particular day was a L'Oreal Roses palette. I used the far left shade as a base and then the far right shade all over my lids.

Products Used;
MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation in NW22
Tarte Aquacealer Concealer in Light-Medium
Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer in Soft Beige (I think, the name has worn off)
Too Faced It's Bananas Setting Powder in Banana Cream
found Shape & Define Brow Pencil in 05 Dark Brown
Benefit Gimme Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel in 3
Colourpop BFF Volumizing Mascara in Brownie Points
Colourpop Just a Tint in Gimme S'more or Rise n Shine

So I start off with my concealers. Tarte goes on first; one swipe on the bridge of my nose, three swipes under each eye. Rimmel goes on next; two swipes each under the eyes, two on the side of my bridge, one swipe on either side of my nose, and one swipe over each of my eyebrows. Then I blend that in and go over my entire face with my MAC powder foundation, followed by my Too Faced banana powder.

Next I do my eyebrows and eyes. Pencil, gel, shadow (if I feel like it that day), then mascara. My lips are last, always, and lately I've really been loving my colourpop tints from their Peach collection. The photo below shows the rise n shine shade, but my ultimate fav has been gimme s'more. It's like my actual lip color but better and I'm probably going to buy five more, just to stock up.

Thanks for not barfing at my face. It looks better when it's covered, lol.
